Tiësto hits the road with “In Search of Sunrise” Summer 2008 tour

Grammy nominated and renowned electronic music pioneer and DJ, Tiësto will kick off his 2008 Summer “In Search of Sunrise Tour” on May 23rd with a stop at The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on Friday, June 13th.

In support of the tour and upcoming release of his compilation CD, In Search of Sunrise 7 – Asia out June 10th, Tiësto is teaming up with Armani Exchange for a strategic partnership, which includes major tour sponsorship, collaborative exclusive apparel, in-store appearances, exclusive on-line content and a limited edition 3-CD set to be sold exclusively at Armani Exchange stores and online at www.armaniexchange.com.
This tour will see Tiësto return to his club roots, allowing his fans to see him up close and personal in a more intimate setting, following his record breaking “Elements Of Life” world tour last year.
With Armani Exchange, Mr. Armani interprets his sensual and unique style to create a collection for the generation of the young, urban and sexy. “A collaboration between A|X and Tiesto was a natural partnership for the brand,” says Patrick Doddy Vice President Brand Image Armani Exchange. “A|X and Tiesto are both aimed at capturing the spirit of a new generation that appreciate after-dark style. The A|X collection takes its cue from all
elements of metropolitan lifestyle and dance music culture. A|X believes that perfect style, like perfect music, can bring the night endless possibilities.
Having over two decades in the electronic music world and recognized as “World¹s No. 1 DJ,” Tiësto’s accomplishments go far beyond the dance music community. In 2007 Tiësto’s Elements of Life album was nominated for a Grammy Award for “Best Electronic/Dance Album.”

He has also played the largest-ever single-DJ show in North America during a sold out show of more than 15,000 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, closed out the main stage at
Coachella and played live in front of over one-billion of people during the Parade of the Athletes at the official opening ceremony of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
Tiësto’s remix of “Delirium” featuring Sarah McLachlan’s “Silence” was the first house track ever broadcast on daytime radio in North America. This track went on to become an international dance floor anthem and spent eight weeks in the UK Top 10 Chart. Widely recognized for his remix skills, top selling major label artists Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, as well as indie acts like Tegan & Sara, Imogen Heap and Cary Brothers, now call upon Tiësto to share his vision in remixing their tracks.
