The Darkness Furious About Brits Snub

Flamboyant rockers The Darkness are still furious they weren’t nominated at February’s (05) prestigious Brit Awards.

The I Believe In A Thing Called Love band, who won three gongs at the ceremony last year (04), were expecting to win the Best Live Act category at the London ceremony, because they sold more concert tickets than any other British band last year (04).

He complains, “I’m bitter about the Brits, I really am. We’ve sold 130,000 tickets for thirteen dates. It’s more than anybody else that year and we weren’t nominated.

“I see that as a snub, I think the British music industry has learnt from what we’ve done and said, ‘Right, we’ve learnt from them now let’s discard them.’

“Well f**k you. We’re coming back and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
