Some how i feel that NASA'a Policy has not changed much. Point in questions, The challenger O Rings were seen as not a high risk, When the team of inspectors Decided it was a Go. Challenger paid the price for there miss judgement. Same thing was dont with the last shuttle that parished. They saw the peice hit the wing...yet they did not halt the mission. They did not do a space walk to inspect the wing. They made a call based on the odds. I can only pray no more lives are lost because of this.

I agree with you, the thing with the O Rings on the chalenger was overlooked, maye this hairline crack in the foam isn't that unimportant as they say... whit all that's happened they should be very careful...
