Frankfurt (dpa) - With a chassis featuring a volume of just one litre, MSI's new mini PC Wind Box DC100 runs on an energy-saving E-450 dual-core processor (1.65 GHz) from AMD with an integrated AMD Radeon HD 6320 graphics unit.
Despite its compact form, the Wind Box DC100 features six USB 2.0 ports as well as connectivity for HDMI, VGA, LAN and various audio connections and a 6-in-1 card reader within the 3.5 cm thick chassis.
MSI promises an extremely quiet unit - under 22 dB. The Wind Box with its 2 GB Ram, 320 GB hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premium system costs around 300 euro (404 dollars).
New multimedia laptops from Asus
Berlin (dpa) - Asus has equipped its new N5 series multimedia laptops with a subwoofer sound system from Bang & Olufsen, Intel's i5 or i7 processor and the Geforce GT555M graphics card.
In addition, the 15.6 (N55SF) or 17.3 inch (N75SF) laptops support the Intel Wireless Display technology over which pictures and films can be transferred without cable. There is also an HD webcam as well as USB 3.0 slots. Other devices can be charged through the USB connection when the notebook is turned off.
The 15.6 inch laptops with anti-reflective display retail at 1,099 to 1,229 euro. The 17.3 inch specular notebook arrives in October for 1,349 euro. Other than the cheaper 15-inch model, all the laptops come with full HD resolution.

Munich (dpa) - Navigation through programs or the internet is not only for the mouse as Logitech has come up with a Wireless Touchpad for one-finger control, scrolling or swiping.
Those who would like to operate more than one computer can connect up to five devices to the USB port. The manufacturers promise an average battery life of four months. The Wireless Touchpad is expected out at the end of September for 50 euro.
Belkin with five new routers
Berlin (dpa) - Belkin's new fleet of routers looks almost like eggs. But the difference can be found under the rounded plastic covering. The N450, N600 and N750 transmit at both 2.4 and 5 GHz bandwidth.
The N750 series can reach a speed of up to 450 Mb per second. Both of the top level models include a USB port for printers or network storage and support media streaming as well as automatic file back-ups.
The N750 also has four gigabit ports. Prices range from 35 euro for the beginner's model N150 to 100 euro for the N750. The N300 and N600 models also are available with integrated DSL modem.
Netgear with new router
Berlin (dpa) - Netgear's new top-level router WNDR4500 promises a speed of up to 450 Mb per second in both wireless bandwidths. In addition to two USB ports for connecting a printer or external hard drive, the router is also equipped with four gigabit ports and offers time control to limit internet access.
