What do you think is going on? Mac and Linux have an open source code. Your best bet is with Mac. The game controllers do not want you to become aware of what they are doing. With MS one must purchase a protector to keep your machine from becoming infested with self directed programs. Most people are not smart enough to finner out that what is being presented comes from the source. Yes, all of these people control who and what you are at this late stage of existence here upon this planet.

It's so easy. I use Linux for all online work, in fact for the majority of what I do now, and only use windows when there is no other option, which now is very rarely. I never go online with windows. Dual booting with windows and Linux is now so easy. Look it up, google it if you must, but I use dogpile, look that up too. Computer security is not that difficult, just learn to think outside the box and refuse to run with the herd.

@Endgame
For starters Mac ISN'T open source and never has been. They use open source software as the core for OSX and that's about it.

abstractduk is 100% correct.
You should never have Windows automatic updates turned on.
Never use Vista either.

All the viruses out there are Israeli in origin. Why are these humanity hating parasites trying to destroy civilization?

They seem to never tire in corruption and filth !

I think the world needs to think of ways to communicate once the internet becomes highly government controled or entirely shut down. This is the last gap in their armour and they WILL CLOSE IT DOWN. The only reason the internet is still operating is because its the best source there is for spying on people and understanding what people really think. All the worlds main secret service agencies love it. Its giving them loads of funding and loads of work.

To the best of my knowledge, Mac is just as likely to be infected as windows.
Vista seems all to easy to hack, have had it about 6 months now (came with the first PC I didn't build myself (gift) since 1969.
In that 6 months Vista has been hit twice.
I use a good anti-virus, and use tools to get rid of adware and other junk.
I'm even running 3 configured firewalls.
I store important stuff on my old machine (I built it and steam punk'd it). It's running XP and seems to do a decent job.
I have run Linux, but that was years ago, and it wasn't always easy to get drivers for devices I wanted to run, but on the bright side, with the open source I could just write em myself, and they'd work about half the time. I'm sure Linux is better now.
BTW watch it if you DL any security products from Simtel.
No longer a trusted source.

Who cares ? (Former military commander)Jan 18th, 2009 - 15:13:38

Active x controls & win media player along with Adobe reader are full of Engineered holes goverment uses for monitoring everryone computer

A hacker just discovered a hole were to put a dynamite stick in...

Just to add more a single command in IE7 in its addons holes can wipe out all user computers world wide ...

Its so simple I cant ponder how anyone had not found it before ....

My advice ... Go linux go Firefox go opera ...

Microsoft pre engineered HOLES are a liability ....

US goverment clasification of programs goes as...

Win XP Public (can be compromised anyway )

Linux Secure (hard to compromise )but still hackeable

Solaris (Top secret ) (hard to hack)

Bill gates Sucks ! Microsoft is Sold to Police goverment !

Win XP has Built in self destruct codes put there by NSA and Goverment
in case they need to shut down all world computers ...

China Goverment had inbedded thoose codes in the CPUs manufactured for US market ..

Just be 'zurprized ' when a war erupts as your computer goes in smoke after receiving a satellite command to self destruct ...

As cars also will go DEAD as car computers & KEYS use similar electronics ...

Think is a joke ?

Your electronic car key can be jammed by an electric door opener remote 230 megacycles radio frequency signal ....

Ask why nobody was able to move a car out of N.O when the hurricane hit

US navy ship jammed all car keys & computers , no one was able to move
as the hurricane hit ..

A radio amateur Wistleblowing this event was killed within a week of making it public .

Dare to find out! start with VIC 20 and commodore 64 computers Self destruct commands.. altair Z 80 memory destruct command ....

Read about CPUs Tranceivers in HP printers sold to Sadam and how Sadams army computers were shut down ...

We are all for the same ...

That is why i go for air started diesel engine no computer no CPU No electronics transport .

Computers (expendable not for survival related aspects ...)

Print your info Buy books , if WAR hits you will be shut down by the enemy or worst , by your own goverment hijacked systems.

AMEN !

Pretty nice as i am a new user on the pC world side of it as i am Mac user myself. this windows X version world is actually pissing me off for the lack of a better word. more buck for the bugs. i don't mind to spent more money for the quality just like mac. bill Gate did actually screw up us all this for his own profit. more bug the better for his pocket just like the Xbox 360 issue with his cpu or gpu recall overheating. it's all about money. Microsoft doesn't care about you, it cares about your wallet. Mac cares about reliability and trust and privacy. i go for mac. no bugs, no virus. we are clean to go, worry free.
