This guy is about 30% heavier than the Eee. It is only 1.3 kg, but still.
It also has a hard drive, with the attendant greater storage capacity, but also increased fragility and reduced battery run time (compare to what it would offer had it had a SSD.)
On the other hand, the keyboard is better than the Eee's. That's a big deal.
When the new VIA CPU makes it into the thing, I will look hard at this guy.
