why is everyone getting so hyped about selling only 1 million phones in under 3 months. Nokia sell 1 million of their 11xx series eavery month. When the L6 was launched by Motorola sales were over 1 million a month. Look at the RAZR, N95 etc... 1 million units in 3 months is pretty poor show in the world of telecoms
Why do you expect, oh wise one? This a first-gen product in every aspect for this company!
You do realize that all those names you just rattled off are well-established telecom companies have been in the cellular business for many years, right? Of course they can sell X-amount of phones in a matter of minutes because they are heavily subsidized and are available worldwide, among other things. I'm sorry but you can't expect me to actually consider comparing the iPhone to a RAZR, or any Motorola for that matter. The newest RAZR's, especially, are a joke...a toy! Not many other phones available today have the build quality of the iPhone. I plan on using it for many years to come, not just one year (or less) like you can expect from the manufactured life-span of most popular, heavily-subsidized models.
What were you possibly hoping to achieve here? Your comparisons and argument was uninspired and baseless.
