China's search engine users are young, well-educated males

Beijing - Chinese users of internet search engines are primarily young, well-educated males, according to a survey published by the China Daily on Wednesday.
The poll of 30,000 found of the search engine users, 45 per cent are between the ages of 26 and 35 years old and three-fourths of them are male.
More than half of the users prefer China's search engine Baidu over providers such as Google and Yahoo, however, the international firms are gaining due to strong advertising.
The survey was conducted by Beijing-based CCID Consulting Company over a month.
