Chances are good?

I've found that not a single driver I have tried to use for internal hardware (all supposedly Vista compatible) will work. Possibly because there are no updated drivers from either the manufacturer or windows regards the motherboard.

USB stuff seems to work fine - couldn't get the drivers installed for my pci-e wirless card so have bought a USB wireless dongle as an interim - drivers were found in milliseconds,as with my wireless keyboard.

I downloaded 3 days ago and love it. Replaced Vista and have had no problems with compatibility so far and no problem with drivers. I was ready to by a Mac Book Pro and thought I should try Windows 7 first and I am glad I did. I think it is a huge improvement on Vista and will continue to work with it. It is so fast it is like I have a new computer. I find it was easy to work with. It has only been 3 days but if it does not let me down down the road I will stick with it. Now we need the Computer makers to catch up with Apple. Sorry Apple so close.

Vista CAN be upgraded to 7 RC. But I share the frustration that 7 Beta can't be upgraded to 7 RC(without hack) and that 7 RC won't be able to be upgraded to 7 RTM. As far as drivers go, I had only 1 hardware incompatibility(Sound card) on my 5 year old desktop and no problems on my 18 month old laptop.

I'm sitting here wondering if the installation of Windows 7 RC is ever going to get past (0%) on the Installing Windows screen.

I'll let you know (64bit)

Been running Win 7 since the first beta release.

I have used the XP mode on a few apps (Skype and others) with limited success.

I tried to download and use the 'ReportWebpageProblemIE' add on for IE 8 and that proves to be a failure.

Tried to use Vista as the VM setting..no dice.
Tried the XP mode...no dice.

Makes it really hard to report problems with IE 8 / Win 7 when the report a problem add on wont work.

Found and am just now playing with psr.exe.

Seems to be a useful tool that I hope makes it into the RTM.

I to am using Win 7 in a production machine for testing like I did with Vista when it came out in beta.

No other way to find what works and doesnt.

If the RTM stays the same Win 7 will be the OS for my business and what the biz recommends to our clients.
