Summer Sizzlers 2013: Eau De Lacoste L.12.12 Noir a clean, sexy scent

Smells are very powerful and can evoke so many pleasant memories.

To this day, if I smell pHisoderm Facial Wash, I still think of the guy I had a major crush on when I was 12 years old.  Fresh cut grass on a summer’s day reminds me of walking to my BFF’s summer pool party.  And pine nuts bring to mind the little hidden park where my sister and I hunted for the nuts from the fallen pinecones in Italy.

So I take my smells very seriously!  Because they are much stronger than just the memory, they add depth and emotion to them.

That is why it is very, very important to think before cologning your man.  I remember every single one of my boyfriend’s cologne smells!

Come on, you do too if you think about it…  Take a moment right now and harken back to your high school heartthrob…. Can you smell him?  My guy wore Royal Copenhagen!

Whereas my last boyfriend wore Gaultier and it drove me wild!   Regardless of how the relationships started or ended, I could never date a guy who didn’t have a delicious smell.

Lacoste, a high brow brand famous for their iconic polo shirts, has just added a new cologne to their stable of macho scents.

I tested out the new Lacoste, Eau De Lacoste L.12.12 Noir and I’m mad for it.  It is powerful without being overwhelming.  The scent has a woodsy tone base without smelling like a pine forest, and has a sweetness without needing a shot of insulin.  It’s as if the perfumers at Lacoste went into my brain and figured out what I was looking for and came up with a retro-newtro scent that I just adore.

They say that the inspiration behind Eau De Lacoste L.12.12 Noir is dusk, the time of day when the sun begins to set, when daytime melts into night and there is a warm, aromatic breeze as you sip on a cool drink while laughing with your friends.

Let me just say, I want to be friends with the guy who wears this cologne.  I imagine being safe and warm with him, I imagine smiling and laughing with him.  He is not young or old or rich or poor or tall or short, he’s just masculine.

Ladies and Gents, I highly recommend this fragrance for men.  It’s a definite “must own” if you want a Scent-sational Sizzling Summer night!
