Ronaldo: 'Very difficult for me to return to Manchester United'

I think ronaldo is a gifted but troubled player, and should stay on at old trafford. Under fergasons tutelage he will be able to overcome his ego-driven hostrionics and become the world player that he has the potential to be. It will also be a blow to Man U if he left. Instead of running away to spain, he should stay in the uk and take the abuse like a man, only then will he be truly humbled and learn his lesson.

it is his fault for getting rooney a red card, i agree. but sometimes people do things without thinking twice if their forced to. he is a good player but people hate & discriminate him for one mistake. im sure there are other players have done worse & i do not think anyone should continue hating him. & has anyone tried putting themselves in his position? you wouldnt feel very good, would you? he made a mistake & im sure he regrets it but booing him off when he gets the ball isnt very fair. if he doesnt pursue his football career im sure that everyone would be losing a potential player.

i dont think ronaldo should leave man-u just cuz some 'traterz' booed him at the world cup, he should cum bak to manchester and continue playing here as he is extreamly talented and the best we hav. it was'nt even his fault that rooney got sent off, he should return ak here and recieve luv snd support from his 'real' fans. RONALDO IS THE BEST!!!!!

cristiano is a very good player but he has this attitude that some people cannot tolerate. he should think about others too. he's being selfish. at first, he was my favourite player but now when you look back what happened in the world cup, i just think that he's a play-acting player who likes to take advantage.

There is nothing to be ashamed off you are playing for your country and you have the every right to do it so don't be afraid, if you found good of Wayne Rooney Weakness regarding his anger, then he might have to learn something from you. This whole thing is part of Ron's plan to play for Real McDrid. He doesn't want to play for ManU anymore. The problem is the greedy little boy signed a contarct extension and has four years to run on his contract.
If I were Sir Al, and I'm not in case you were wondering, I would let hem train with the kids for three years and see who wants to buy him then.
This is all about Ronaldo's greed, nothing else, end of story.

I now read in todays Mail on Sunday that Ronaldo maybe staying. The only way for him to salvage his international reputation is for him to stay on at Man U, and learn to deal with his ego. I mean, is he going to move clubs every time he has a tantrum??? As an england fan, i will respect him alot more if he stays and deals with us and our press.

Oh, people get a life - its only a game. when you are that young and get caught up in the sport, people do things in the heat of the moment - give the guy a break. Next week something else will happen and the incident will be forgotten. If anything, the incident provided some excitement to an otherwise dull World Cup.

My name is Nicole Gomes and I am 17 years of age. I live in Wollongong (Sydney), Australia but I am also a very proud Portuguese, as both my parents are from Funchal, Madeira (Portugal).
I believe that Cristiano is not guilty for getting Rooney sent off. (No offense but that red card was well deserved after stepping on Carvalho. Luckily there's no permanent damage - that I know of anyway!)
I believe that Cristiano is the most talented player worldwide. His speed and footwork are unbelievable! He doesn't only play extremely well, but he looks good when he plays too =P He is by far the most gorgeous player out there and it’s every person’s dream to meet him. (I never thought it was humanly possibly to be that perfect!)
I too play soccer and I look up to Cristiano Ronaldo in every aspect of the game. At Christmas this year I am traveling to Madeira to visit family and to meet Cristiano would truly be a dream come true!!
I'd like to thank Cristiano for being such a valuable role model for myself and the new generation while at the same time, living his dream. I wish him all the very best in the future as he is clearly one of the heroes of the game!!
