Chicago, IL - Anna DeForge had 16 points and nine rebounds as the Indiana Fever beat the Chicago Sky 75-70 in double overtime at UIC Pavilion.

Tamika Whitmore scored 15 points, Tully Bevilaqua had 13 and Tan White added 11 points and five assists for Indiana, which has won three of four after losing its previous six.

Tammy Sutton-Brown added 10 points, seven rebounds and four blocks for the Fever, who clinched a playoff berth with a win over Sacramento on Sunday and hold a 2 1/2 game lead over Connecticut for second place in the Eastern Conference.

Chasity Melvin had a season-high 26 points and 10 rebounds while Candice Dupree had a career-high 20 rebounds but had just four points on 2-of-14 shooting for the Sky, who dropped their fourth straight to fall two games behind fourth place Washington for the final playoff spot in the East.

The Fever took a 69-66 lead on a jumper from Whitmore and two free throws from Sutton-Brown with 56.2 to play. Dupree countered with a layup to make it a one-point game, but three straight Indiana free throws gave the Fever a 72-68 lead with 31.2 seconds left and the team held on for the win.
