New York, NY - Cathrine Kraayeveld netted 18 points as the New York Liberty picked up a crucial 74-66 victory over the Connecticut Sun at Madison Square Garden.Erin Thorn donated 13 points and Janel McCarville added 12 for the Liberty, who are in a battle with Washington for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.With the win, the Liberty pulled even with the Mystics at 15-18. New York, which holds the tiebreaker, finishes the regular season at home against Chicago on Sunday, while Washington is at Connecticut.Katie Douglas led all scorers with 22 points, and Lindsay Whalen dropped in 19 for the playoff-bound Sun.© 2007 The Sports Network
