Sales leads Sun past Fever

Indianapolis, IN - Nykesha Sales poured in a career-high 32 points to lead the Connecticut Sun to a 77-74 win over Indiana.Lindsay Whalen added 17 points for the Sun, who have won 12 of 15 to move within one game of Indiana for the second seed in the Eastern Conference. Connecticut has clinched at least the third seed and, by sweeping the Fever during the regular season, own the tie-breaker over Indiana.Anna DeForge had a season-high 29 points, sinking five three-pointers, and Tammy Sutton-Brown scored 19 and grabbed 10 boards for the Fever, who have dropped nine of 12.© 2007 The Sports Network
