San Antonio, TX - Becky Hammon scored 18 points as the San Antonio Silver Stars edged the Houston Comets, 63-60, at the AT&T Center.
Shanna Crossley added 16 points off the bench, Sophia Young donated 14 points and Ruth Riley grabbed nine rebounds and blocked five shots for the Silver Stars, who have won three of four and sit in second place in the Western Conference.
San Antonio's Vickie Johnson dished out her 1,000 assist becoming the first player in league history to amass more than 3,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 1,000 assists
Michelle Snow registered 11 points and nine boards, Tamecka Dixon chipped in 10 points and Sancho Lyttle had nine points and 10 rebounds for the Comets, who have lost two of three and are officially eliminated from the playoffs.
San Antonio shot 47.1 percent from three-point range while the Comets shot just 16.7 percent from downtown.
