Auburn Hills, MI - Deanna Nolan scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Detroit Shock defeated the Indiana Fever, 74-69, at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Nolan finished 9-of-16 from the field and 7-of-7 from the free-throw line. Katie Smith chipped in with 15 points, while Swin Cash and Kara Braxton contributed nine points apiece for the Shock, who clinched the best record in the WNBA and home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.
Detroit, which has won six straight and 13 of its last 14, will travel to New York to play the Liberty on Sunday.
Tan White scored a team-high 15 points and Tammy Sutton-Brown dropped in 13 for the Fever, who had a brief two-game winning streak snapped and have lost eight of their last 11.
Indiana will host the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night.
