Fever continue hot streak against Mystics

Indianapolis, IN - Tamika Whitmore posted 17 points and 12 rebounds off the bench, as the Indiana Fever downed the Washington Mystics, 65-52, on Tuesday.
Tan White scored 19 points for the Fever, who snapped a six-game losing streak, winning for the first time since losing Tamika Catchings to a left foot injury on July 20. Tammy Sutton-Brown added 13 points in the win.
Alana Beard had 15 points for the Mystics, who have dropped three of four and all four regular-season contests against Indiana in 2007. Monique Currie added 11 points in the loss.
Indiana, which never trailed in the game, attained its largest lead on Whitmore's jumper ending the third quarter at 50-36.
