Augustus leads Lynx past Monarchs

Sacramento, CA - Seimone Augustus poured in a game-high 39 points as Minnesota slipped by Sacramento, 79-73, at ARCO Arena.
Eshaya Murphy added 13 points and six rebounds for the Lynx, who have won two in a row. Svetlana Abrosimova contributed 10 points and five assists.
Nicole Powell scored 29 points and pulled down six rebounds for the Monarchs, who have dropped four of six. Yolanda Griffith added 14 points in the loss.
Minnesota led 18-13 after one quarter and kept Sacramento at bay for the remainder of the contest.
