Taurasi lifts Mercury past Sky

Chicago, IL - Diana Taurasi poured in 26 points and buried a game-winning bucket with just five seconds on the clock as Phoenix edged Chicago, 98-96.
Penny Taylor got the ball to Taurasi cutting down the lane and the All-Star connected on a running half-hook with 3.6 seconds left.
Chicago had a chance to win it but Cathy Joens' three-pointer in the final second came up empty.
Tangela Smith added 19 points and eight rebounds for the Mercury, who have won four of their past five games. Kelly Miller added 17 points and dished out six assists while Cappie Pondexter had 16 points, six boards and seven assists.
Stacey Dales netted season-high 23 points for the Sky, who lost for the first time in four games. Joens tallied 21 points off the bench and Candice Dupree had 18 points.
