Dixon leads Comets past Silver Stars

San Antonio, TX - Tamecka Dixon scored a game-high 21 points as the Houston Comets downed the San Antonio Silver Stars, 69-63, at the AT&T Center.
Tina Thompson added 17 points and eight rebound while Crystal Smith and Hamchetou Maiga each added eight points for the Comets, who have won two of their last three.
Sophia Young had 15 points and 13 rebounds while Becky Hammon and Ruth Riley each had 11 points for the Silver Stars, who had won three of four coming into the contest.
