Jul 25, 2007, 19:45 GMT
Minneapolis, MN - Penny Taylor poured in 30 points and Diana Taurasi added 19, leading the Phoenix Mercury to a 103-79 rout of the hapless Minnesota Lynx at the Target Center.
The Lynx have lost 10 straight games and haven't won since June 29 at San Antonio.
Taylor made 9-of-14 shots and Taurasi hit 7-of-13, as Phoenix connected on 52.3 percent from the field and reached 100 points for the fifth time this season. The two also combined to drill half of their 14 three-point attempts.
Cappie Pondexter chipped in 15 points for the Mercury, who have won three of their last four. Phoenix also posted a 106-93 win over Minnesota on Sunday in Arizona.
Seimone Augustus and Tiffany Stansbury each scored 13 for Minnesota, which has also lost five straight home games. Stansbury also pulled down 10 rebounds.
The Lynx were as close as 10 with 7 1/2 minutes to play, but Phoenix pulled away with a 17-1 run.
