Indianapolis, IN - Sophia Young scored 24 points as the San Antonio Silver Stars beat the Indiana Fever, 71-63, in overtime at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Becky Hammon added 17 points and Vickie Johnson had 12 for the Silver Stars, who snapped a four-game losing streak against Indiana.
Anna DeForge had 15 points and Tammy Sutton-Brown added 12 for the Fever, who have lost three straight, tying a season-high.
Indiana was without All-Star Tamika Catchings for the second game. She injured her left foot July 20 against Detroit and could miss the rest of the regular season.
San Antonio ran out to a 65-61 advantage on buckets by Young and Ruth Riley. After Tully Bevilaqua's hit a jumper for Indiana, Young made two free throws and Riley drilled a jumper to push the lead to 69-63.
Hammon's two free throws tied the contest at 61-61 with 16 seconds left, and Indiana's Tamika Whitmore missed a jumper at the buzzer, sending the game to overtime.
In the extra session, the Silver Stars outscored the Fever, 10-2.
