Silver Stars' Buescher has successful surgery

San Antonio, TX - San Antonio Silver Stars forward Erin Buescher had successful surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament on Monday.
Buescher suffered the injury in the first minute of the Silver Stars 87-77 victory at Phoenix on July 11. She will miss the rest of the season.
Buescher was averaging 11.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game this season.
