Sky edge Silver Stars in OT

Chicago, IL - Jia Perkins poured in 27 points off the bench to lead the Chicago Sky to an 84-82 overtime win over the San Antonio Silver Stars at UIC Pavilion.
Dominique Canty added 13 points, Armintie Price 12 and Chasity Melvin 10 for the Sky, who have won two in a row after a five-game losing streak.
Sophia Young scored 25 points, Becky Hammon added 20 and Vickie Johnson 12 for the Silver Stars, who had a six-game winning streak snapped.
Hammon's two free throws with 1:03 to go in overtime tied the game at 82 but Canty's jumper with six seconds left sealed the win for Chicago.
