Jul 22, 2007, 3:15 GMT
Chicago, IL - Jia Perkins scored 17 points to lift the Chicago Sky over the Indiana Fever, 68-65, at UIC Pavilion.
Dominique Canty had 12 points and dished out five assists for the Sky, who ended the game on a 9-0 run.
Chasity Melvin, Candice Dupree and Armintie Price each chipped in with 11 points as Chicago snapped a five-game skid.
Tamika Whitmore poured in a game-high 26 points, but missed an uncontested three-pointer with 9.4 seconds left in regulation for the Fever, who have dropped two in a row after winning six straight to fall one game behind first- place Detroit in the East.
Tammy Sutton-Brown and Tan White chipped in with 10 points apiece for Indiana.
The loss came on the same day Indiana announced All-Star forward Tamika Catchings will miss at least two weeks of action with a left foot injury.
Catchings was hurt in the third quarter of Friday's 89-80 loss to the Detroit Shock, suffering a partial tear of a muscle in the foot.
