Whalen helps Sun break through Storm

Uncasville, CT - Lindsay Whalen scored 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists to lead the Connecticut Sun over the Seattle Storm, 76-58.
Katie Douglas added 18 points, five rebounds and six assists for the Sun, who have won five straight and six of seven.
Asjha Jones had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Connecticut, which moved to the .500 mark at 11-11 for the season.
Lauren Jackson had 19 points, but only four in the second half, and grabbed 14 rebounds for Seattle, which has dropped three straight.
Former University of Connecticut standout Sue Bird had seven points for the Storm. She had missed the last five games after undergoing left knee surgery.
Seattle led 41-37 halftime, but the Sun scored the first nine points of the second half and never trailed after that.
