Comets get past Liberty

New York, NY - Tina Thompson had 26 points and six rebounds as the Houston Comets downed the New York Liberty, 80-74, at Madison Square Garden.
Tamecka Dixon had 20 points while Hamchtou Maga-Ba added 10 points for the Comets, who have won two of their last three.
Cathrine Kraayeveld had a game-high 31 points and was the only player in double-digits for the Liberty, who have dropped their last three games.
The score was tied at 38-38 at the half, but the Comets took a four-point lead heading into the fourth quarter and held on for the win.
