Red-hot Fever hold off Sky
Jul 18, 2007, 21:25 GMT
Indianapolis, IN - Tamika Catchings poured in 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Indiana Fever edged the Chicago Sky, 75-74.
After Indiana missed on four-straight free throw attempts in the final 12 seconds of the game, Chicago had one last chance to win it, but the Fever's Tully Bevilaqua stole the ball away from Chicago's Dominique Canty to seal the victory.
Tammy Sutton-Brown contributed 12 points and six rebounds for Indiana, which is off to the best 20-game start in the history of the Eastern Conference (16-4).
Jia Perkins scored 24 points off the bench and Candice Dupree had 12 for the slumping Sky, who lost their fifth straight game.
