Fever burn Liberty

Indianapolis, IN - Tan White came off the bench and netted 16 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Indiana Fever past the New York Liberty, 79-63, at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Tamika Whitmore added 12 points and six boards for the Fever, who have won five straight. Anna DeForge donated 11 points while Tamika Catchings had nine points and 10 boards in the victory.
Tammy Sutton-Brown contributed nine points and seven boards for Indiana, which jumped out to a 23-13 lead after the opening quarter and never looked back.
Shameka Christon and Janel McCarville each had 13 points for the Liberty, who had two-game win streak snapped.
Loree Moore netted 12 points in defeat for New York, which committed 25 turnovers in the contest.
