Fever edge Comets

Houston, TX - Tamika Catchings netted 23 points, as the Indiana Fever edged the Houston Comets, 79-77, on Tuesday.
Tully Bevilaqua's layup with 53 seconds left put Indiana ahead 79-75. Michelle Snow then scored on a fadeaway jumper with 30 seconds left, and Tamecka Dixon blocked a Tan White jump shot attempt but missed a half-court shot at the buzzer.
Tammy Sutton-Brown scored 20 points for the Fever, who won their fourth straight. Tamika Whitmore added 13 points in the win.
Latesha Byears scored 15 points for the Comets, who have dropped three of four. Tina Thompson scored 13 points and Hamchetou Maiga-Ba and Dixon both added 12 points.
