Cash leads Shock past Sky

Auburn Hills, MI - Swin Cash totaled 20 points and Detroit pulled away for a 92-84 victory over Chicago.
Deanna Nolan compiled 18 points with seven assists as Detroit sizzled in the second half, shooting 69 percent in improving to 5-0 lifetime against Chicago.
Cheryl Ford and Plenette Pierson each notched double-doubles, Ford with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Pierson with 16 points and 10 boards.
Jia Perkins poured in a game-high 22 points and Chasity Melvin added 18. Candice Dupree recorded 17 points, but needed 26 shots to get there.
The Shock used a 10-2 run to close and third quarter, claiming a 63-57 advantage. Then, Nolan and Ford posted back-to-back buckets to push the edge to double digits.
