Mystics roll through Sky on late charge

Chicago, IL - Alana Beard posted a game-high 25 points to go with seven rebounds, as Washington topped Chicago, 77-73, at the UIC Pavilion.
Monique Currie had 16 points for the Mystics, who snapped a two-game slide. Delisha Milton added 12 points and Nikki Teasley contributed 10 points, five boards and dished out five assists.
Candice Dupree scored 24 points to go with a game-best 11 rebounds for the Sky, which saw their two-game win streak ended. Chasity Melvin had 18 points, while Jia Perkins and Stacey Dales added 10 points each in defeat.
Washington came into the fourth quarter trailing by nine, then outscored Chicago 31-18 in the final stanza to steal its fourth road win of the season.
