Jul 4, 2007, 2:35 GMT
Minneapolis, MN - Penny Taylor scored 26 points and Diana Taurasi returned from her suspension to tally 15 points and nine assists, as the Phoenix Mercury beat the Minnesota Lynx, 95-79.
Kelly Miller scored a season-high 16 points for Phoenix, which has won three straight. Taurasi had missed the last two games after being suspended by the league for inappropriate conduct toward game officials.
Seimone Augustus had 16 points to lead the Lynx, who have dropped consecutive games. Lindsey Harding added 12 points for Minnesota, which had a three-game home win streak halted.
Taylor drained a three-pointer to put Phoenix ahead 84-56, but Minnesota responded with a 23-2 run to draw within 86-79 with under three minutes to play. However, the Mercury held off the Lynx down the stretch and won going away.
Phoenix won for just the second time in nine games in Minnesota.
