Brunson leads Monarchs over Lynx

Sacramento, CA - Rebekkah Brunson had 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Sacramento Monarchs over the Minnesota Lynx, 76-68, at Arco Arena.
Nicole Powell poured in 16 points and had four steals for the Monarchs, who snapped a two-game skid. Scholanda Robinson finished with 11 points in the effort.
Seimone Augustus posted a game-high 22 points for the Lynx, who had won four of five coming in. Lindsey Harding also finished with 17 points.
Minnesota held a three-point lead after the first quarter, but trailed 41-34 at halftime. They pulled within five with just 27 seconds left in the contest, but Brunson nailed two key free throws to put the game out of reach.
