Taylor helps Mercury pound Comets

Houston, TX - Penny Taylor poured in a season-high 26 points as the Phoenix Mercury downed the Houston Comets, 92-75, at Toyota Center.
Kelly Mazzante had 15 points while Kelly Miller added 13 points, seven assists and seven rebounds for the Mercury, who have won their last two games.
Roneeka Hodges had 17 points while Tina Thompson added 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Comets, who had won their past two games.
Phoenix shot 52.2 percent from the floor while Houston connected on 41.7 percent of its shots.
