Comets stop Storm

Houston, TX - Tina Thompson scored 20 points and made 7-of-7 free throws as the Houston Comets held on for an 81-76 win over the Seattle Storm.
The Comets won despite a 25-point, eight-rebound game from Seattle's Lauren Jackson, and 23 points from Betty Lennox.
Hamchetou Maiga scored 15 points for Houston, which has won four of five. Roneeka Hodges added 14 points for the Comets.
Jackson sank 8-of-11 from the field, and 9-of-10 from the line for the Storm, who had won two straight entering the game.
