Houston, TX - Tina Thompson compiled all 17 of her points in the second half to help break open a close game, as Houston downed San Antonio, 75-67, at the Toyota Center.

Thompson missed all five shots in the first half, but drained 4-of-7 in the second half and drained nine free throws on the night. Hamchetou Maiga-Ba and Sancho Lyttle each scored 12 points for the Comets, winners in three straight home games.

Becky Hammon scored almost half of San Antonio's point, totaling 32 points on 10-of-16 shooting with six three-pointers. San Antonio committed a staggering 30 turnovers, with eight coming from Sophia Young.

Houston trailed 54-51 entering the final stanza, but reeled off the first seven points to seize a four-point lead. After a three-point play by the Silver Stars' Hammon, the Comets scored eight of nine points to take control.
