Azarenka leads WTA rankings

Berlin - Freshly-crowned Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka of Belarus heads the women's tennis rankings in an unchanged top 10 issued on Monday by the WTA.
Azarenka has 8,585 to lead from Czech Petra Kvitova, who has 7,690. Russian Australian Open runner-up Maria Sharapova is third with 7,560 points.
The top three were in Fed Cup duty on the weekend, with mixed results. Azarenka lost in her team's defeat in the United States, while Kvitova led the Czechs past Germany and Sharapova helped Russia beat Spain.
