Jun 30, 2010, 16:03 GMT
London - Roger Federer suffered his worst defeat at Wimbledon since 2002 as the six-time champion was stunned by Czech Tomas Berdych 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the Wimbledon quarter-finals Wednesday.
World number two Federer has either won or played the final of every Wimbledon edition since he exited in the first round eight years ago to Mario Ancic.
Berdych's win was his second in a row against Federer after the Czech beat the Swiss in Miami exactly three months ago.
Berdych will play a semi-final against Serb third seed Novak Djokovic, who put out Taiwan surprise packet Lu Yen-Hsun, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.
