URGENTFabio Capello resigns as England manager

London - Fabio Capello has resigned as England manager with immediate effect, the Football Association said on Wednesday.
The FA said that Capello stepped down in the wake of a dispute with the FA which last week removed the England team captaincy from John Terry. The Italian Capello, 65, was England manager since 2007.
