Hoffenheim, Germany - Hoffenheim signed Croatian striker Srdjan Lakic Tuesday on loan from fellow-Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
Hoffenheim said the move had been agreed subject to a medical examination on the 28-year-old player who had joined Wolfsburg from Kaiserslautern last summer and made 10 appearances this season.
Hoffenheim have acted quickly to replace Bosnia striker Vedad Ibisevic who has left for VfB Stuttgart.
Lakic scored 16 goals in 31 games for Kaiserslautern in the 2010-11 season, but struggled to establish himself at Wolfsburg under Felix Magath.
