Zambia advance to quarter-finals at Africa Cup of Nations

Libreville, Gabon - Zambia on Sunday became the fifth team to advance to the quarter-finals at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The team from southern Africa beat the already qualified co-hosts Equatorial Guinea 1-0 in their group A game in Malabo, making the result of the other match between Senegal and Libya, which was played at the same time in Bata, irrelevant.
Zambia won the group with seven points, while Equatorial Guinea have six. Libya, who beat Senegal 2-1, finished third on four points, while Senegal were knocked out without a point.
