Reports: Henry poised for Arsenal return

London - Former France striker Thierry Henry is poised for an unexpected return to Arsenal, according to media reports on Friday.
According to the Daily Mirror, Henry has been in special training with his United States club New York Red Bulls before signing a six-week loan deal to provide temporary cover as Gervinho and Marouane Chamakh head to the African Cup of Nations.
The 34-year-old will wear the number 12 shirt, and could make his debut against Leeds United in the FA Cup on January 9. Henry played at Arsenal between 1999 and 2007.
