Terry questioned by police over racism allegation
Nov 29, 2011, 19:27 GMT
London - British police confirmed on Tuesday that they had interviewed England football captain John Terry over allegations he racially abused QPR's Anton Ferdinand.
A statement was taken from Terry last Friday, a day before Terry scored in Chelsea's 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers as police continue to take statements from witnesses.
'A 30-year-old man was interviewed under caution on Friday 25 November,' said a police spokesman. 'He was not arrested.'
No decision has yet been taken on whether charges will be brought against the 30-year-old.
Terry admits using offensive words, but claims he was denying having used the same terms in an offensive manner.
