Daum set to coach Bruges
Nov 9, 2011, 11:18 GMT
Berlin - Former Bundesliga coach Christoph Daum confirmed Friday he is to take over at Belgian side Bruges, the internet portal Sport1 reported.
Bruges did not immediately confirm the appointment but said a news conference was scheduled for the afternoon.
Daum, 58, is a former coach of Bayer Leverkusen, Cologne and VfB Stuttgart. He was most recently in charge of Eintracht Frankfurt but left after the side's relegation last season to the second division.
Daum, who has also coached in Turkey and Austria, is set to succeed Dutchman Adrie Koster at Bruges.
