London - Manchester United on Thursday posted record operating profits of 110.9 million pounds (179.4 million dollars) for the past financial year.
Revenues for the year ending on 30 June 2011 increased by 45 million pounds to 334.1 million - the first time they have been above 300 million.
The results are excellent news for the club ahead of its proposed flotation on the Singapore Stock exchange and show a marked improvement from last year's record losses of 83.3 million pounds
Net debt, meanwhile, is down to 308.3 million pounds from 376.9 million pounds.
