Evergreen Inzaghi scores brace as Milan draw with Real Madrid

Rome - AC Milan living legend Filippo Inzaghi came on in the second half to score a brace Wednesday in a spectacular 2-2 draw with visiting Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants dominated most of the game, but in the end were glad to clinch a 2-2 draw through an injury-time goal from substitute Pedro Leon.
Real drew after three straight wins and remain top of Group G with 10 points while Milan lag on five.
The first half at the Giuseppe Meazza was a difficult one for Milan as Real's Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain was a constant threat before opening the scoring on 45 after latching on to a perfectly weighted pass from compatriot Angel Di Maria.
Milan's first effort came on 10 minutes when Kevin Boateng's volley was saved before Ronaldinho sent Zlatan Ibrahimovic away on the left flank where the Swede found opposition from custodian Iker Casillas.
Playmaker Andrea Pirlo was also forced to rescue Milan on 20 minutes, blocking a header from Higuain and the following Di Maria drive.
Ibrahimovic sent a lob past Casillas on 37 minutes without finding the net and Abbiati had to block Xabi Alonso's drive from distance before being beaten just before the break.
Cristiano Ronaldo forced Abbiati into a diving save as Real seemed able to continue their dominance in the second half, but the 37-year- old Inzaghi stunned them twice after coming on for Ronaldinho on the hour.
The striker nodded home from close range after Ibra won a tackle against Pepe on 68 minutes and Casillas badly flapped at the Swede's cross from the left.
Ten minutes later, Inzaghi flicked past an again dithering Casillas off a deep feed from Gennaro Gattuso to bring his Euro tally to 70 goals.
Pedro Leon came on with 10 minutes left and connected with a feed from substitute Karim Benzema to fired his equalizer under the legs of Abbiati.
