Beckham unlikely to return to Europe this season

Berlin - David Beckham said in an interview published on Wednesday that he is unlikely to play in Europe this season and will instead focus on his club LA Galaxy.
The 35-year-old midfielder has just come back after six months out a ruptured Achilles tendon sustained during his loan spell last season with AC Milan.
But after two loan spells with the Serie A giants, Beckham now feels he won't go on loan again this season as he instead needs to concentrate on his football in the United States.
'I dont think so. I'll never say never, but after my injury I need to really focus on getting my full fitness back,' Beckham told the FIFA.com website in an interview while in Trinidad and Tobago for the final of the U-17 women's World Cup.
'Physically I need to get myself back in order after a very long time out of the game. I can't say for sure, but I guess well just have to wait and see,' he said.
Despite England coach Fabio Capello all but calling time on the player's career, Beckham says he would be happy to put on the shirt again if selected.
'I want to continue to be available to play for England. Thats all I can do. I am passionate about playing for my country and I have been for 15 years now,' he said.
'Ever since I was a little kid all I ever wanted to do was to play for my country. Whether the road is over or not, I dont really know, but I will continue to work hard to get my fitness right because thats the important bit at the moment. Once I've done that, well know more.'
