Cameroon football legend Milla lambastes countryman Eto'o - again

Johannesburg - Cameroon football legend Roger Milla has once again lambasted his countryman Samuel Eto'o.
'Eto'o may have a great reputation but he didn't do anything for the team during this World Cup,' Milla was quoted as saying in Thursday's edition of the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
The highest-ranked African team coming into the tournament, the Indomitable Lions crashed out after losses to Japan and Denmark. The star striker for Inter Milan scored a goal in the 2-1 defeat to Denmark.
Milla gained fame for his four goals and celebratory dancing during the 1990 World Cup in Italy, when Cameroon became the first African side to reach a World Cup quarter-final.
He had also criticized Eto'o, 29, in the run-up to the 2010 World Cup.
'I know he's angry with me because of it. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to disprove my criticism. He accomplished nothing. And this by someone who may be the best footballer in the world,' Milla said.
'This is why I'm so disappointed that he didn't show our people what it is longing for so deeply.'
