Wolves pounce for striker Doyle

London - Wolverhampton Wanderers completed the signing of striker Kevin Doyle from Reading on Tuesday. No fee has been officially disclosed, but it is believed the Republic of Ireland forward cost around 6.5 million pounds (10.8 million dollars). Wolves, who won promotion last season, claim to have beaten off competition from four other Premier League clubs to land the striker. 'I'm delighted to get the move sorted,' the 25 year old told the club website. 'The facilities here are top class, and it's going to be great to be back in the Premier League again.'
